Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. YOUGO? also uses similar technologies such as localStorage, sessionStorage and secure tokens to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences.

We only set what we actually need. You are always in control — see "Your choices" below.

• Strictly necessary — authentication session, CSRF/anti-abuse, load balancing, cookie-consent state. Without them you cannot sign in or book a ride. No consent required.
• Functional — language (SV/EN), preferred payment method, recent addresses, map centering. Consent-based.
• Analytics — aggregated, pseudonymised usage (page views, feature adoption, crash telemetry) to improve the product. Consent-based.
• Payment provider — Stripe and Swish set their own cookies for fraud prevention and 3-D Secure. Required to process payments.

• Stripe — payment processing, PCI-DSS scoped tokens.
• Google Maps — map tiles, geocoding, autocomplete.
• Supabase — authentication session cookie.

• Session cookies — cleared when you close the browser.
• Auth session — up to 30 days, rotated on activity.
• Preferences — up to 12 months.
• Analytics — up to 14 months, then aggregated.

You can accept, reject or fine-tune non-essential cookies from the consent banner shown on your first visit, and re-open it any time from the footer.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent sign-in and ride booking.
